The Derby Cathedral Peregrines.

A few weeks ago I went to Derby city centre to see the Peregrine Falcons that live in the Cathedral. The Peregrines have lived in the Cathedral since 2006 and people around the world come to visit them with a guarantee of seeing them. Peregrines are the fastest predator in the world and you can also watch the Peregrines from anywhere as their are webcams in there box. Here is the website for more information and to watch them live: http://derbyperegrines.blogspot.co.uk/

When we first went to the box there was nothing there.

Derby Cathedral.

When we returned they were both there! This was very
promising as It means they could be having chicks again this year.

  1. So pleased you came to see us, Georgia. And thanks for blogging about us. We shall have an amazing new nest camera up and running soon. It would be great to see you at one of our WatchPoints later in the year. We have been told our peregrines have already been seen mating, so we all have our fingers crossed for egg-laying at the end of March.

You blog is brilliant - a credit to you. Keep it up and you'll undoubtedly go far! Wildlife is an amazing career to be in. Not usually well payed, but rewarding in oh so many other ways!
